Since 1992, Pastor Johnson has faithfully served within the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as both a lay and associate pastor across several churches. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Pasadena Seventh-day Adventist Church in Pasadena, California.

End Times Like These Ministries conducts weeks of prayer, revivals, Revelation seminars, evangelistic reaping meetings, medical missionary training, youth discipleship and retreat conferences, and literature evangelism training. Through this work, hundreds of churches have been strengthened, over 600 lay evangelists and Bible workers have been trained, and more than 1,500 baptisms have been recorded since 1992 across the Pacific Union Conference and the North American Division.
Pastor Johnson is blessed to serve alongside his wife, Denise Johnson, who is the co-director of End Times Like These Ministries. They have four children and one grandson. Above all, Pastor Johnson desires to be known as a sincere and consecrated servant of God, continually seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Denise Johnson is a native of Los Angeles, California, and was raised in the San Fernando Valley. After spending more than twenty years away, she returned to a committed walk with Christ and His church in 1997. Soon after, she began serving as the Youth Ministries Leader at the Valley Crossroads Seventh-day Adventist Church in Pacoima.
In 2000, Denise was blessed to join the Voice of Prophecy radio ministry, where she served as a Bible Instructor in the Bible School. She continued in this role until 2014, when the ministry relocated to Colorado. This transition allowed her to fully dedicate her time to ministry alongside her husband.
Denise holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Organization and Management with an emphasis in Leadership at Liberty University.
As co-director of End Times Like These Ministries, Denise works alongside Pastor Johnson in equipping God’s people for a finished work. She is passionate about nurturing, teaching, and leading others into a deeper and loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Together, Michael and Denise Johnson are committed to ministry, discipleship, and evangelism, serving with a shared mission to prepare hearts and communities for Christ’s soon return.
